Main topics: • Giving personal information • Countries and languages • Numbers • In the office • At the university • In the hotel • Food and drink Exercise forms: • Listening comprehension, dialogues, reading comprehension, production of short texts Grammatical aspects: • Verbs (present); modal verbs (can, like / would like); auxiliary verbs (have, be) • Personal pronouns (nominative, accusative) • Nouns (nominative / accusative, singular / plural) • Noun group (definite / indefinite article, possessive article, adjective endings) • Questions • Negations • Prepositions (local, temporal) • Compound nouns
Lernziele
At the end of the module the participant can understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type, e. g. in a shop or restaurant. He/she can introduce him/herself and others and can ask and answer basic questions about personal details such as where he/she lives and things he/she has. He/she can interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help.
Prüfungsleistung
• 4 tests a 60 minutes • The result of each test counts 25 % for the module grade
