Description of characteristic historical construction typologies and materials, diagnostic methods; Assessment, calculation, and safety evaluation of historical structures.

Lernziele

The participants gain knowledge about historical structures and their properties as well as the historic approach to design and built structures. The participants learn to apply their competences in structural engineering to the analysis, assessment and consolidation of historical structures.

Prüfungsleistung

• Prerequisite: abstract in the seminar 5-10 min • Modul examination: Oral examination, 20 min.

Bemerkungen

The module is passed if at least 50% (corresponding to grade 4.0) is achieved. In the event that the module cannot be taught or tested according to the present description (e.g. for reasons of infection protection), the alternatives communicated on relevant platforms (e.g. homepage or Moodle) apply.
