Inhalte

• Reading and understanding simple texts, understanding simple listening texts • Practising grammatical structures (Simple Present and Present Continiuous, adjectives and adverbs, Simple Past, countable and uncountable nouns, comparison, be going to, Present Perfect) • Improving writing skills (descriptions, blogs, formal and informal emails)

Lernziele

At the end of the module the students can understand sentences and commonly used expressions concerning fields of existential importance like personal and familial information, shopping or daily routines. They are able to agree on simple tasks which require a direct exchange of information on common and familiar issues and can describe aspects of their personal background, their immediate environment and of existential needs with simple phrases.

Prüfungsleistung

• 12 written tests (45 min each) • Every test accounts for one-twelfth of the final grade
