Thematic focus: • Common business abbreviations • Communicating in business (email, memo,letter, phone calls) • Understanding charts & explaining graphs and charts • Small talk in business situations • Types of companies and company structure • Terms of payment and delivery in international trade

Lernziele

Introducing students to the foreign language in a professional context. The main goal is to develop a high level of communication skills in the field. All areas of competence (reception, production, interaction and mediation) are trained.

distributed throughout the semester (as scheduled during the course) • total 13 assessment modes: Tests, Homework (1-3 pages), presentations (5-15 min)
