Basics in single phase and three phase systems, conventional power plants, generators, transformers, operation under normal and fault conditions, overvoltages

Students will get a basic understanding in electrical power engineering with special reflection on the situation during normal or fault operation

• Written examination, 90 min or • verbal examination, 30 min

The lecture will give a short introduction to students with bachelor degrees in electrical engineering (or others), who had no subjects in electrical power engineering in their undergraduate programmes
