Electromagnetic environment (high frequency impulse fields, lightning impulse overvoltages, switching impulses, low and medium frequency interferences), EMC design criteria (protection against direct lightning stroke, potential grounding, screening, overvoltage protection,filters), EMC system planning (zone concept, interface definition) EMC measuring and testing technique
Lernziele
Students will get a deeper understanding of possible interferences in power systems and will be able to design a EMC compatible layout in large scale power installations and systems
Prüfungsleistung
written examination (90 min) or oral examination (30 min)
