Electric field strength, surface charges, dielectricas discharges and breakdowns in gases, liquid and solid insulators. Processing and material prameters of technical insulating materials.
Lernziele
The students will get a detailled knowledge in high voltage engineering and insulating materials including the relevant electric field calculations and breakdown mechanisms.
Prüfungsleistung
• Written examination, 90 minutes OR • Oral examination, 30 minutes In the first lecture it will be announced, if the examination will be offered in written or oral form.
