Prerequisites
Mandatory, as written
• For students of examination and study regulations from 2008: All credit points from the basic study period (semester 1-4) and all credit points from the 2 semesters at the TU Poznan • For students of examination and study regulations from 2017: All modules from first 6 semesters (180 credit points).
Contents
Writing of the bachelor thesis. Presentation of results in a scientific appropriate style.
Learning outcomes
Students demonstrate their ability in academic paper writing and result presentation in writing and talking. In the framework of the double-bachelor programme in physics with the TU Poznan the students acquire skills and insights in bilateral research projects also as an exercise in self-development. Further the module intends to impart knowledge in literature search and academic research methods and to strengthen the students ability to participate in scientific discussions. Additionally the module supports social competences as the capability of teamwork and further competences as accurateness, endurance, and curiosity.
Assessment
• written bachelor thesis • oral presentation The final mark is obtained from the weighted average of written bachelor thesis (0.75) and oral presentation (0.25).

Remarks
The bachelor thesis has to be written in English. The duration of writing the thesis is limited to 4 months. Mandatory module double-bachelor programme in physics with the TU Poznan.
