A working level of English in reading, writing and speaking. Basic knowledge of PC technology.
Contents
The presentation and the tutorial deal with one of the main components of a state-of-the-art personal computer system (CPU, graphics card, BIOS, power supply, etc.).
Learning outcomes
Students learn how to obtain specific information, prepare a presentation, give a presentation and to write a scientific paper of tutorial nature.
Assessment
• Written research paper, 10-15 pages (50%) • Presentation of results, 30-45 min. (50%)
Literature (1)
- Students have to retrieve materials from open sources. In return they get the equivalent materials (presentation, paper) from other students.
Remarks
• Study programme Computer Science B.Sc.: Compulasory elective module (level 100, proseminar)
