Modellierung und Simulation diskreter Systeme
6 CPevery semesterENno longer offered
Prerequisites
Recommended, as written
A course in programming at least equivalent to the module • 12105: Einführung in die Programmierung Knowledge of statistics and/or probability theory is useful.
Contents
• Event-Based Simulation • Event Graphs • Object Event Simulation • Modeling Activities and Processing Networks • Using the Simulation Tools OESjs and AnyLogic
Learning outcomes
Students will learn the basic theory and techniques of computer simulation and simulation modeling of discrete dynamic systems, including practical methods and tools for modeling and simulation. The course contents will be project- driven. Students will apply the knowledge learned on a number of collaborative modeling and simulation projects, thus acquiring the desired skills.
Assessment
• Successful completion of four project assignments (50%), • Four online quizzes/tests, each 15 minutes (each 12,5 %)
