Dynamik und Regelung von Netzen
6 CPWinterENno longer offered
Prerequisites
Recommended, as written
Strongly recommended: • 12894 Regelungstechnik 1 and 12895 Regelungstechnik 2 or • 11494 Control Engineering 1 and 11747 Control Engineering 2
Contents
The module consists of lectures and seminars in combination with a final study project. In the module, the following topics are addressed: • Fundamentals of algebraic graph theory • Dissipative systems • Properties of interconnected systems • Multi-agent systems • Synchronization of multi-agent systems
Learning outcomes
On the completion of this module, students should be able to: • Obtain representations of networks of dynamical systems and multi-agent systems, such as networks of mobile robots or microgrids • Investigate input-output and energy properties of dynamical systems • Analyze system interconnections through individual subsystem input-output properties • Understand the concept of synchronization in dynamical systems • Design basic controllers for synchronization of multi-agent systems
Assessment
• Written exam, corresponding to 70% of the final mark. Duration of 89 minutes. Printed and written materials like scripts or books are allowed. For calculations, non-programmable calculators are allowed. Any other type of electronic device is NOT allowed. • Study project, corresponding to 30% of the final mark. Each group (3-4 students) should submit a report (10-15 pages) containing their developments and outcomes of the study project.
