Active Structures
Aktive Tragwerke
6 CPSummerEN
Prerequisites
Recommended, as written
Vorgespannte Tragwerke (11694) Schwingungsanfällige Tragwerke (23503)
Contents
Concepts for active structures Modeling and simulation of simple active structures as a basis for the design of mechatronic systems (state space representation) Mechatronic / adaptronic systems (sensors, actuators, control) Active and semi-active systems for vibration control Model-based control design
Learning outcomes
Knowledge / Skills: Bringing together theories, methods and tools from different fields for the optimal design of active structures. Competencies: After successful participation in the module, students are able to design, model and simulate simple active structures or adaptronic / mechatronic systems. The contents of the module are applied by working with the simulation software Matlab/Simulink.
Assessment
Preparation of a written project report (70%) Presentation of the project results (15 Min.) (15%) Oral examination (15 Min.) (15%)
