In the 5th semester, the standard study plan also asks for:
- ≥ 6 CP Module aus dem Bereich Technikund Ingenieurwissenschaften: all compulsory elective modules
- ≥ 12 CP from the areas: “Schwerpunkt Wirtschafts- und Sozialwissenschaften” or “Schwerpunkt Philosophie, Ethik und Kulturwissenschaften”
- ≥ 6 CP Interdisciplinary studies: see FÜS list
